You can help spread joy and love this holiday season by taking an angel ornament from the Angel Tree and donating new, wrapped or unwrapped toys, crafts, books and games suitable for boys & girls ages 2-17 yrs old. We are working with Allemands, RJ Vial, and JB Martin to bring a little holiday cheer to those in most need.
How to Donate:
* All gifts must be accompanied with our angel ornament to use as the gift tag. Please bring your gifts to the church and place them under the Christmas tree until Sunday, December 15th.
* You may also make a monetary donation of cash or check payable to St. Michael the Archangel Church. Please place your donation in an envelope marked "Christmas Gift Drive" into the collection basket or mail to the Parish Office.
Your generous contribution will bring smiles to many faces this Christmas!
If you have any questions, please contact Vickie Hinrichs.

The event was very successful! The Paradis Fire Department brought over a firetruck, there were 19 vehicles/booths, and more than 100 children were in attendance. Everything went quite well and the children had loads of fun.
We will have Trunk-or-Treat following our 4:30 p.m. Family mass on Saturday, October 26th. If you are interested in passing out candy from your vehicle/booth, please sign the interest form in the back of church. Further details will be provided in the coming weeks.
On behalf of our parish family, I would like to thank all the individuals that have volunteered to be Ministry Coordinators. These gracious people are going to guide growth and development in several ministry categories; Worship, Parish & Family, Social Justice, Evangelization& Outreach, and Religious Education. Again, thanks so much to all who volunteered.
We just got word that the new merged parish will be named St. Michael the Archangel. This name was presented to the Archbishop and approved as of mid-March. The new parish will begin operation the first week of July. Our new pastor will be Fr. Lance Campo. Fr Campo is currently serving the community of St. Theresa of Avila in New Orleans and previously served at Center of Jesus the Lord as Spiritual Director. Fr. Campo's current parish is being dissolved and dispersed into two neighboring parishes, so he is fully aware of the struggles we are going through. Let's welcome Fr. Campo with open arms and hearts as we move forward in rebuilding our faith communities into one united in Christ through the intercession of St, Michael.
