As required by the Archdiocese of New Orleans, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church has continued to maintain a governing body, the Pastoral Council and the Finance Council.

The Pastoral Council consists of 6 elected & 3 appointed members each with a term of 3 years. Nominations will be taken for 2 of the elected positions between April 26th through May 4th with the election taking place between May 17th - May 20th. Nomination forms will be available next weekend and located near all entrances of the church. The nomination forms may be dropped in the collection or at the rectory.

Please prayerfully consider nominating yourself or others as we are attempting, with God's help, to build strong faith filled community that focuses on faith, hope, and love. 

 We thank those who have served several years on a parish merger transition committee and went on to serve this past year on the parish council and finance council of St. Michael.
